WebThe Western Reserve Greenway follows much of the Pennsylvania Railroad’s (PRR) former branch line, extending to the shores of Lake Erie at Ashtabula, Ohio. The route’s earliest history dates back to the mid-19th century, although delays in construction and lack of financing resulted in many years passing before rail service actually began.
