WebAug 16, 2024 · I just viewed the video. i don't use so many noodles. if I need a longer noodle, i take a dowel rod and put two together, i fit the layers on my table, then only roll up the top or the backing on the noodle and spray and unroll, etc. then turn over and do the other fabric to the batting and done. You can mark the top of the batting if you need exact matching. You can’t see where the spray is but if you try to roll the noodle back up, it will stick where the spray is.

It is easier to smooth the fabric as I baste. Another tip: don't unwind too much as you baste, 12-18" is plenty.
